Official letter from our School President,
Sr. Gracia T. Gegajo, DSFS.
Blessed be God!
We are right now in the reality of the restrictions of Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) that hinders each one of us to be together to recognize, celebrate and congratulate your children for their time, effort & dedication in their school achievements. Indeed, this is a very important, significant and special day for you since it marks your children’s success towards their desired dreams in life, but we all understand that this limiting situation of being together is impossible for all of us. With this, we are reaching out to you thru this social media to extend our congratulations & recognitions to your children’s well deserved –achievements and of course our gratitude for your loving effort and support in the education and formation of your children.
Together we hope and pray that this pandemic will end and everything will be back to normal to see you and your children in good health and continue with that spirit of resiliency and positivity in life.
As DepEd announced that classes will start on August 24, we plan to open our school year 2020-2021 on August 4 thru flexible learning experience, our new and re-adjusted lens of instructions (technology. Innovative learning modes) in partnership with an educational technology provider and institution that specializes in digital innovation. This will be a redefined and calibrated technology skills designed for self-paced, adoptive learning which is a home-based instruction and reduced face to face instruction in our new reality since we are still waiting for the development of the ECQ. For this, we are of course considering and assuring the safety and well-being of your children at the same time rendering the quality education to them.
This will be a challenging year for you parents and guardians since you will be asked for a collaborative action with the school. So with the school since it will redefine, modify and re-adjust aspects of current operational systems with the needs of this times. Also for our teachers that will entail a continuing professional learning that needs reviewing and retooling in the context of quality learning of the students.
After finalizing our new-designed learning curriculum and the digital tools and strategies to be used in the primary, secondary and tertiary level, we will be getting in touch with you thru our official social media and give you the guidelines to collaborate with us in providing a virtual learning environment for your children. We will try to simplify and be practical with the use of technology as a solution and action for this demand of our current situation and to help this COVID19 pandemic flatten the curve.
We will communicate to you the schedule of orientation by grade and year level of your children to provide the details of this year’s learning track and education of your children.
Let us all unite our prayers to the lord to end this pandemic crisis.
May Our Lady of Good Health with St. Francis de Sales, St. Jane Frances de Chantal and our Venerable Founder, Don Carlo Cavina protect, guide and keep you and your families safe.
God Bless us all!
